Dear students,
. . . HIP PITY HOP PITY EASTER'S GONE ITS WAY . . . AND SO IS THE THIRD QUARTER--BEWARE! THE FORTH QUARTER CAN BE CATCH UP TO AVOID SUMMER SCHOOL. YES! I SAID SUMMER SCHOOL, WHICH I WILL RECOMMEND YOU COMPLETE BEFORE ADVANCEMENT INTO JUNIOR YEAR, AND YES I HAVE . . . . DON'T BE A FOOL AND MISS OUT ON ALL THAT FUN IN THE SUN BECAUSE OF LAZINESS!
And, in the beginning of the third quarter there was Room 213, again! "abandon all hope Ye who enter here" if you fail to follow simple rules and procedures. Please be sure to keep track of your grades, so we may avoid this waste of time of asking me, which "sounds like a . . . . " When Summer starts in June, it will all be a Midsummer Night's dream until September, unless, you have decided begin summer school.
Dates to remember: CP II Classes-- June 13, and listen closely to Mr. Walsh for special dates . . . Frosh I-- June 13, and listen closely to Mr. Walsh for special dates . . .
The homework will always be posted daily and weekly, both on the Web and in class. All of you should be very knowledgeable with what a homework routine consists of, and will know very quickly, what I expect from you. In addition, I know many of you are involved in extracurricular activities, but that does not give you an excuse for incomplete homework or projects. I strongly feel that academics are primary, and activities are secondary! If you become too tired or stressed out, because you feel your plate has become too full (with activities), then it is time for you to go on a diet from activities, and focus on what is fundamentally nutritious--academics. I will not be lenient, nor tolerate with incomplete and late assignments.
If you make the effort the rewards will be great. If you continue to play the wise fools, you will end up disappointed with effort spent foolishly. Show me the effort and commitment and I'll show you your true worth.
By now, you are all aware of how my classes are to operate, and my expectations of the quality of work that I expect of you. There will be no excuses for a lack of compliancy to my rules and policies, and you will all be held responsible to the highest quality of academic standards.
*Please check out all of my Web page's and give me some feed back, I am always looking for new ideas. In addition, the resource page is growing, so please review that as well. What do you think? Anything missing? Want something added? Let me know.
