The Goal of Our Chromebook Program
The goal of a 1 to 1 program at Immaculata High School is to create a collaborative learning environment for all students. This environment will enable students and teachers to implement transformative uses of technology while enhancing students’ engagement with content and promoting the development of self-directed, responsible life-long learners. Students will transition from consumers of information to creative producers and owners of knowledge. Immaculata will integrate professional development for teachers and students to enhance classroom environments by implementing high-quality instruction, assessment and learning through the use of technology and curriculum. Technology immersion does not diminish the vital role of the teacher. To the contrary, it transforms the teacher from a director of learning to a facilitator of learning.
For a full description of our program and policies, please consult the Student Handbook.
The Chromebooks issued to our students are the property of Immaculata High School. Students are responsible for any damage incurred. Some damages may be covered through insurance. Parents may elect to insure their child's Chromebook through a policy made possible through the Worth Ave. Group. For more information and to sign up, please use the links below:
