HIGH SChOOL PLACEMENT TEST (HSPT)
Students wishing to apply to the Immaculata High School Class of 2021 must take the Diocese of Metuchen High School Placement Test (HSPT). Please contact the Admissions Office at 908-722-0200, ext. 218 to learn about upcoming test dates.
There is a $60.00 testing fee due on the day of testing. This fee may be paid in cash or by check made payable to Immaculata High School.
Advanced registration for the HSPT is required. You may register online by clicking here.
If your child has an active ISP/IEP, you must contact the Admissions Office at least three days prior to testing to discuss any necessary accommodations. A complete copy of the plan, including educational and psychological testing results and a list of accommodations must be provided to the Admissions Office.
ADDITIONAL ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
In addition to taking the placement test, all students seeking admission to the Immaculata High School Class of 2021 must complete an application and submit a record of grades for Grades 6, 7, and 8 as well as any available standardized test scores.
The application process for the Class of 2021 is as follows:
- All students applying to the Immaculata High School Class of 2021 should use our Online Application Form.
In addition, all applicants must download, print, and complete the Immaculata High School Applicant Grade Form. This form should then be submitted to the 8th grade teacher or guidance counselor with instructions to forward the completed form, along with the final 6th and 7th grade report cards, current 8th grade report card, and 6th and 7th grade standardized test results, directly to the Immaculata High School Admissions Office.
Important information for the class of 2022
Applications for the Class of 2022 are now being accepted. The application can be found here: Class of 2022 Application form.All applicants to the Class of 2022 are also required to submit an Applicant Grade Form. This form will be available in September 2017.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS
Transfer students are admitted in September and at the start of the second semester in January. To be considered for transfer admission, prospective transfer students will need to submit a completed transfer application, a completed recommendation form, and a transcript of high school grades.

In addition, all transfer applicants must download, print, and submit the Recommendation Form directly to the student's current guidance counselor. The guidance counselor will complete the form, attach a transcript of grades, and forward directly to Immaculata High School.
Following receipt of the online Transfer Application, Recommendation Form, and transcript of grades, prospective students and parents will be invited to school for an on-site interview. A final decision on acceptance will be made after the on-site interview.
