Glen Gardner '85

Glen GardnerAs a senior at Immaculata High School in 1985, Glen Gardner once collected 15 straight hits as part of a 73-hit effort during that season. The Star Ledger sports staff named him one of the top New Jersey players of the 1980s. In 1987 in the Cape Cod League he was among the top ten in the league in hitting, home runs, and RBIs.

Glen went on to Rutgers University and graduated from there as the all-time hit, home run, and RBI leader. Accolades continued to come in his direction. He earned All-American honors on two occasions and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1997. Professionally, Glen was named to the Appalachian League All-Star Team in 1988 and the South Atlantic League All-Star Team in 1989.
