The Lady Spartans had a great team effort on both ends of the court leading to a 49-41 victory over a tough North Hunterdon team. Tara Ryan led the team with a career high of 23 points and 10 rebounds, including going 13-14 from the free throw line. Margo Cherry added 11 points and 8 rebounds, as well as a couple of timely blocks, steals and drawing another offensive foul. Julia Vazquez added 7 points and steady floor play, filling in for injured Julia Pinckert. Allison Lehberger provided a spark in the third quarter with a steal and a basket and added a foul shot, as North tried to get back in the game. It is always an exciting game, when these two teams get together.
