Glenn Vitiello '75

vitielloGlenn Vitiello was an outstanding running back while attending Immaculata High School. Glenn played running back and he was a guiding force in laying the foundation for football success in the early years of the program. Glenn was a three-year starter and he scored 112 career points, with 73 of them in his senior season. In addition, Glenn was a Star-Ledger All Parochial selection and All Area and All County Selection of the local press. Most importantly, Glenn’s career was representative of Immaculata’s second winning season in school history and the school’s first-ever conference championship (then the Raritan Valley Conference). Immaculata’s tradition and future successes in football are certainly exemplified by the 1974 team and the role Glenn played on that team. Glenn went on to coach running backs at I.H.S. throughout the 1990’s–the teams of that era were extremely successful and Glenn Vitiello, through his coaching, was a major contributor to this success as well.
