Posted on 01/11/2019
Robotics TeamRobotics teams from around the Central Jersey area gathered at Montgomery High School on Saturday morning, January 5, to learn about the challenge for the upcoming 2019 season. The teams watched a broadcast from the FIRST headquarters in Manchester, NH hosted by inventor and FIRST founder Dean Kamen. The broadcast revealed the theme and basic rules of the game.

After the kickoff at Montgomery, Cold Fusion members gathered at Immaculata on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons to discuss the rules in details, decide on a strategy for how to play the game and begin brainstorming ideas for how to build the robot to carry out the strategy.

Starting Monday, the team begins designing, building, programming and testing our robot. Stay tuned for updates throughout the season to follow our progress.

Competitions will take place in March at Mt Olive High School, Bridgewater-Raritan High School and Montgomery High School.
