Physical Education and Head Lacrosse Coach

We are thrilled to announce that David Hobson has joined the Immaculata High School Athletic staff as Head Coach of Boy’s Lacrosse. As the current 3d Lacrosse Garden State Manager, former Varsity Assistant Coach at Summit High School, and Certified Personal Trainer, Coach Hobson brings an abundance of expertise in player development, training and performance. 

Coach Hobson is known as passionate, energetic and results-driven lacrosse coach. During his time at Summit High School as the Varsity Assistant, the programs achievements included 3 Union County Championships, 2 State Championships, 2 Tournament of Champions (TOC) appearances. Additionally, he has coached Old Bridge High School’s Boys Off Season Lacrosse Team since 2011 where he has been a consistent source of mentorship and leadership to student athletes.

As the 3d Lacrosse Garden State Coach and Manager, Coach Hobson has coached hundreds of youth boys lacrosse players. He is outstanding in improving player development, lacrosse IQ and game readiness in players of all ages and skill levels. In this role, he has also had the opportunity to coach at 3d National Training Camp and Inside Lacrosse’s Committed Academy.

Coach Hobson enjoyed his college lacrosse career at Kean University earning team Captain, the E.J. Leadership Award and graduating with a degree in Exercise Science.

Between his own collegiate player experience at Kean University and his years of coaching high school and youth club lacrosse, Coach Hobson will be an instant asset to our program, players and coaching staff. Please join us in welcoming Coach Hobson to the Immaculata Athletics staff.
