As a player at Rutgers University, Pierce Frauenheim was a key member of the first undefeated team in the school's history in 1961. His records as a runner on that team still stand today, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication to the sport. Pierce's contributions to Rutgers were recognized with his induction into the Rutgers University Hall of Fame, cementing his legacy as one of the school's all-time greats.
Joining Immaculata in its founding year, 1962, Pierce became not only a coach but a mentor and transformational leader. Under his guidance, the Spartan football team achieved greatness, claiming four state titles in 1984, 1985, 1994, and an unforgettable undefeated season in 2006.
