Harkins Sets School RecordImmaculata Junior TJ Harkins from Hillsborough became the first runner in the school’s history to break 16 minutes in the 5k run at the Metuchen Relays. He ran 15:59.38 for 4th place. According to his Spartan Spring Track Coach Chris Heibell '05, “TJ has been training hard and putting in work day in and day out. There's nothing he could do that would surprise me at this point. This is just the start for him. It's going be a fun ride the rest of the way.”

"After the finish of my Cross Country season,” says TJ Hawkins, “I was determined to be ready for Spring Track. Even though I was swimming for the Immaculata Swim Team, I continued my running throughout the winter to be ready for spring. I have had my sights set on breaking 16 minutes for the 5K, and I am so excited to have reached this goal. I am really looking forward to the rest of the Spring Track season."
