Spartan Talent Shines at Disney—Making Magic On Stage and in the Parks!
Posted on 03/23/2026

Immaculata’s Performing Arts students recently took their talents to Walt Disney World for an unforgettable trip filled with music, learning, and lifelong memories. From enjoying the parks together to representing IHS on a national stage, it was truly a magical experience for all involved.

Students made the most of their time in the parks, building friendships and creating moments they’ll never forget. A true highlight of the trip was the Spartan Marching Band’s incredible parade down Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom—bringing Spartan Spirit to one of the most iconic locations in the world.

Zach Wroblewski, Band Director said, "While the Spartan Marching Band has been having a great time at Disney, as their band director, it was great to see everyone snap into performance mode to provide some magic to the park on Saturday morning! It was also a great treat to see so many of our hometown family and friends out on the parade route. Thank you all for making the trip to Florida to experience the magic with us."

In addition to performing, students participated in an immersive Disney Performing Arts workshop. Throughout the session, they honed fundamental musical skills such as intonation, balance, and tone quality, while also exploring how phrasing, dynamics, and articulation bring emotion and expression to music. Disney music professionals shared valuable insights into the discipline and dedication required to succeed as a professional musician. Endorsed by the National Association for Music Education, the workshop struck all the right notes for our talented students.

Michael Gasko, '06, Director of Performing Arts shared, "We are so proud of our performing arts students! From preparing, packing, and traveling as a group to performing in front of thousands, our choir and band students’ talent and maturity are what makes our Disney Trip a truly magical experience.”

The experience also included a special performance by the Immaculata High School Choir as part of Disney Performing Arts On Stage at the Marketplace Stage—another proud moment showcasing the hard work and talent of our students.
