Immaculata High School recently hosted another incredibly successful Garage Sale that once again showcased the strength, generosity, and unity of the Spartan community. The annual event brought together students, alumni, faculty, staff, volunteers, current parents, past parents, and members of the parish community, all dedicating countless hours of their time to make the event possible.
The success of the Garage Sale was also made possible through the overwhelming support of the surrounding community. Many individuals and families from both inside and outside the Immaculata community generously donated items for the sale, helping create an event that benefited countless people throughout the area. From organizing donations and setting up displays to welcoming shoppers and assisting families throughout the event, the spirit of service could be felt in every corner of the building.

More than just a fundraiser or community event, the Garage Sale served as a reflection of Immaculata’s mission of faith and service. Volunteers of all ages worked side by side throughout the four day event, creating an atmosphere that was welcoming, joyful, and centered around helping others.
Mrs. Paras, Director of Campus Ministry, stated, “This incredible event spans four days and involves every part of our school community. The joy we share while creating a Garage Sale that is open to the public is truly unique. Students, parents, alumni, and teachers work side by side while offering affordable items to those in our neighboring community. I strongly believe the most beautiful part of this event is how God uses our efforts to provide for people in need. We never know the stories of those who come through our building to shop, but we always want every person to feel welcome in our home. During the Garage Sale, we have the opportunity to show everyone who walks through our doors what it truly means to be part of the Spartan family.”

The event continues to be one of the most meaningful traditions within the Immaculata and parish community, reminding everyone involved of the power of service and the importance of coming together to support one another.
