Senior pitcher Ryan Auten, a Wake Forest Baseball commit, has been nothing short of dominant this season.
The 6’5” southpaw delivered a statement performance against a local rival, tossing 6 innings of one hit, no walks, and 12 strikeouts, pushing his career total past the 200 strikeout milestone.
Auten has firmly placed himself among New Jersey’s elite, posting a staggering 0.92 ERA with 60 strikeouts to start the season, averaging 12 strikeouts per outing. Even more impressive, he has issued just 7 walks through his first five starts, showcasing elite command to go with his power.
The Immaculata High School Spartans are off to a 12–3 start and currently sit at #11 in the NJ.com Top 20. The Spartans are looking to defend their Somerset County Championship and enter the tournament as a favorite.
With Auten at the top of the rotation, the Spartans are poised to make serious noise in the state bracket. His outings have become a regular stop for pro scouts, and his future is sky high.
