The Immaculata High School Spartan Minecraft Bedwars team concluded an extraordinary season this past weekend with a second-place finish at the ESC National Championship held at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.
Competing against some of the nation's top scholastic esports programs, the Spartans showcased exceptional teamwork, resilience, and determination throughout the tournament. Team members Ben Beiran, Lucas Gaerlan, Quinn Gaibor, and Dylan McCarthy battled through every challenge, overcoming adversity to earn a spot in the championship match and ultimately finish as national runners-up.
Their impressive performance capped off a season filled with decisive victories, steady growth, and countless memorable moments, firmly establishing Immaculata as one of the premier high school Minecraft Bedwars programs in the country.
"Our team demonstrated incredible perseverance throughout the tournament," said Dennis Schneider, moderator of Spartan Bedwars. "They never gave up, even when faced with difficult situations, and continued to support one another every step of the way. Watching them compete with such determination and sportsmanship made all of us incredibly proud. Finishing as national runner-up is a tremendous accomplishment, and with our entire roster returning next season, we're excited for another opportunity to compete for a national championship."
With every member of the championship team set to return next year, the future is bright for Spartan Bedwars as they prepare for another exciting season and another run at the national title.
