Message From Secretariat of Catholic Education

Dear Catholic Leaders,

This is potentially our last week to make our voices heard before Congress releases a draft COVID-19 Emergency relief legislation.

Please see below a link to a new USCCB Action Alert that highlights our request that Congress set aside 10% of any funds for K12 education to go to scholarships for families that attend private schools.

We need your help to circulate this link as widely as possible this week!

Please help by sharing this link with your email lists, social media and any other communication form you have! On social media please also use the hashtag #Save Catholic Schools.

We are up to 130 schools that have announced permanent closure this year and internal surveys tell us 10% of Catholic schools are uncertain of their future due to COVID.

Please keep our schools and our legislators in your prayers and also do everything you can to make sure our Catholic family raises this urgent issue with their representatives in Washington, DC this week!

More information can be found here.
