Thank you Angelica, Madison, and Julia

Our petitions this morning during our end of year Mass asked for prayers for peace in Ukraine, which is still suffering under the tragedy of war.

We thank all of you who contributed to Immaculata’s donation drive for Ukraine and for spreading the word to your family and friends. Because of your sharing, our drive was additionally supported by many outside sources, including Immaculate Conception School, the Blue Sheep Bakery of Somerville, Catering Solutions of Raritan, The Preschool Place of Bridgewater, and the Piscataway Knights of Columbus.

The drive was planned by Angelica Ordonez, who has family currently living in Ukraine, and Madison Schuhrer, with much help from Julia Kosiorek.

We thank them for the packing and delivering of 197 boxes of goods to The Ukrainian National Women’s League of America who then arranged for the shipping to the border of Ukraine.
