Head Coach

Coach McKeever

Ryan McKeever '00

Ryan McKeever is entering his 23rd season with the Immaculata Boys Basketball program and his 13th year as Head Coach. A proud 1999 graduate of Immaculata High School, McKeever has dedicated over two decades to building one of Central New Jersey’s most respected and competitive basketball programs. His commitment to player development, academic excellence, and program culture has helped make Immaculata Basketball a model of consistency and pride.

Coming off a strong 20-win season, McKeever has guided the Spartans to numerous winning campaigns and postseason appearances throughout his tenure. Under his leadership, the program has achieved over 170 victories, produced several standout players, and maintained a reputation for hard-nosed, team-first basketball.

A passionate teacher of the game, Coach McKeever has developed and mentored dozens of student-athletes who have continued their basketball careers at the collegiate level. More than 15 of his former players have gone on to compete at the NCAA Division II and Division III levels, and six have joined the elite group of Immaculata players to surpass 1,000 career points. Beyond the stats and milestones, McKeever takes great pride in the growth of his players as young men, students, and leaders.

Equally important to him is the academic success of his team. Many of his players have been inducted into Immaculata’s National Honor Society, a reflection of the program’s emphasis on discipline, accountability, and character both on and off the court.

For McKeever, Immaculata is more than just where he coaches—it’s home. He and his wife Cristina (Class of 2000) are both proud Spartan alumni and parents to two daughters, Brynn and Rylie, who are growing up surrounded by the Immaculata family. “Immaculata is a special place,” McKeever says. “The wins and milestones are great, but what truly matters are the relationships with the players. The most rewarding part of coaching here is seeing former players come back, talk about their experiences, and share how being a Spartan shaped who they are today.”
