SOMERSET COUNTY LIBRARY CARD

Immaculata High School is dedicated to providing all students with the educational foundation necessary to succeed in school and in life. To ensure your child’s success, the IHS Media Center has teamed up with the Somerset County Library. The County Library will be issuing each IHS student a library card that will allow students to access any library in Somerset County. The advantages of being a library member are endless. The students will be able to access endless resources including books, eBooks, magazines, games and utilize the numerous educational databases at any time either online or at the library facility.

Below is a list of some of the many library databases that are frequently used.

  • Gale Virtual Reference Library (eBook)
  • Facts on File
  • EBSCO
  • Science Online

Because these databases will be used in classes throughout the school year, every student is required to be a member of the Somerset County Library System in order to access them.

In order to ensure that every student has access to the Somerset County Library, please come to the Media Center and ask the Media Center Coordinator Mr. Sheppard how to apply for a Somerset County Library card.
