As a tribute and thank you for their commitment to Immaculata High School and Catholic education, this school acknowledges all alumni parents who have graduating seniors. On graduation evening these parents are recognized in the program, their names are announced during the distribution of diplomas, and they have the honor of standing next to their child as Bishop Checchio hands the diploma to the new graduate. This year nearly 13% of our seniors have alumni parents, which is a beautiful testament to Immaculata, because these parents so valued their Spartan educations that they wanted the same for their children. One graduate not only has two Spartan parent graduates, but his late grandmother also graduated from Immaculata, making him a third generation Spartan.
