BeardsleyThe Spartans hired a two-time, state-championship-winning coach and if this year is any indication, JeremyBeardsley lived up to the hype. The team bought in, embraced the coaching change, and the results came in a hurry as Immaculata went 12-5-2 a year after finishing 4-11-1.

Syracuse commit Teri Jackson helped turn things around on the offensive end along with senior Naiya Jefferson and junior Juliet Lardieri. Sophomore keeper Aubrey Reno had a promising year in net and she'll be back next season as Immaculata looks to take another step forward.

"We aren't setting any specific goals for this season," Beardsley said in the summer. "What we want is that every day we get better, that we set a standard of competition and excellence and that we play for something bigger than ourselves every single time we are fortunate enough to be on the field. Once we change the culture, then good people and good players will look at the opportunity of becoming a scholar-athlete at Immaculata High School as an attractive option.

"It's about changing our culture and being proud of the product on the field. No single player is more important than anyone else. If we are going to change this quickly it rests on the shoulders of everyone."
