Head Coach Ryan McKeever, who has played as a Spartan and has been with the program for 15 years, says, “I was very proud of my team with this victory. They showed great heart, overcoming adversity and staying together many times with the game on the line. It was a great test early on in our season and terrific to get the road win.
"This ranks at the top of the list in my six years as head coach. This was our 5th road game in a row and we played a tough, well-coached team on their home court.
"Jaden Honis stepped up and really took over when we needed him to do. This performance is a credit to his hard work during the off season. He doesn't take any days off! A lot of credit also goes to our senior leadership. This team win will only help us in going forward into the new year.”
