Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Scholarship

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Scholarship has announced its 2024 scholarship available to High School Seniors from Somerset, Middlesex and Union Counties. The Central Jersey Alumnae Chapter (CJA) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has been actively engaged and involved in the communities of Central Jersey by focusing on youth through mentoring programs and supports academic achievements by awarding scholarships to deserving high school seniors. Applicants must be African American students who demonstrate academic excellence and community involvement. The 2024 Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund

The 2024 Hispanic Heritage Scholarship Fund selects 10,000 outstanding students as HSF scholars each year. High school seniors who are of Hispanic heritage with a minimum GPA of 3.0 may apply. The deadline to apply is February 15, 2024 and the application can be obtained at: https://www.hsf.net/sign-up/


The Rotary Club of Branchburg

The Rotary Club of Branchburg will be awarding $1,500 scholarships to two outstanding seniors from Immaculata High School, Class of 2024. To be eligible students must reside in Branchburg, be in good academic standing with a B average or better, and be involved in community service. In addition, the Rotary will award the $2,500 Ray Bateman Scholarship and the $1,500 John Pasture Scholarship to seniors who attend the three (3) area high schools. The Raritan Valley Roadrunners

The Raritan Valley Roadrunners have announced their 4th Annual Scholarship to be awarded to student-athletes who attend school in Middlesex and Somerset Counties. Eligible applicants must be graduating from high school or currently attending community college in these counties and accepted as a full time college student for the Fall of 2024. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher, demonstrate passionate participation as a runner in their junior and senior years of high school and participate in extracurricular and community activities. The deadline to apply is February 29, 2024. An application can be obtained here.


The New Jersey Relocation Council

The New Jersey Relocation Council has announced their scholarship which is available to any current senior who has relocated to a New Jersey high school from a distance of at least 50 miles away. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above and must have moved between 9th and 12th grade. An essay, a transcript and a list of extra-curricular activities are required. Applications are due no later than February 29, 2024 and can be obtained by clicking here.


Franklin Woman's Club

The Franklin Woman’s Club has announced their annual scholarship opportunity for female students who reside in Franklin Township Somerset. The FWC is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education, encouraging leadership, and supporting community improvement projects through volunteerism. Applicants must graduate high school in the Spring of 2024 and have been accepted to a 2 or 4-year college, and may attend high school outside the district. Completed applications must be delivered to the Office of School Counseling and/or postmarked by March 20, 2024. Interested students must contact their School Counselor or Mrs. Peltack on or before Friday, March 15th to ensure that official transcripts are prepared to meet the deadline. The Scholarship application is posted on the Franklin Woman’s Club website at: https://www.franklinwomansclub.com/ or can be obtained in the Office of School Counseling.


The Louis Bay 2nd Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship

The Louis Bay 2nd Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Committee has been announced by the New Jersey League of Municipalities and local mayors to offer three (3) $1,000 scholarships to the winning essay entries. Juniors and Seniors who reside in Somerville must return applications and essays to Mayor Gallagher's Office: The Honorable Brian Gallagher, 25 West End Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876, no later than March 8, 2024. Students who reside in other towns can send their applications to their hometown Mayor’s Office. The New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association (NJEPA)

The New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Association (NJEPA) has announced their scholarships to be awarded to a graduating high school senior or college student pursuing a career in the emergency management field of study (emergency management, homeland security, fire suppression, law enforcement, hazardous material, arson investigation, emergency medical services, planning, health, public health, social Services, etc. in the public or private sector. The applicant's parent(s) or grandparents(s) must be members in good standing in any emergency services department (police, fire, rescue, EMS or emergency management) in the State of NJ. Additional information on the Scholarship Program can be found here (please insert attachment). The on-line application can be found at www.NJEPA.org/awards and must be received no later than March 10, 2024 by 3:00 pm. Late applications will not be considered.


The Italian American Club at Canal Walk

The Italian American Club at Canal Walk is offering scholarships for high school seniors from Immaculata who are of Italian descent (Father's or Mother's side of the family).

The following criteria will be used for this scholarship:
1) A current high school transcript MUST be attached
2) Two (2) letters of recommendation (One letter must be from a teacher; the other from a person who played a supervisory role in a current or past activity in which the applicant participated; e.g. employer, coach, counselor, cleric)
3) List of all extracurricular activities, including school activities, community service activities and work experience, listing years of participation and weekly work hours, if applicable.
4) Acceptance to a 2 or 4 year accredited college
5) Completion of the following essay topic: What Italian person in your family or family’s Italian belief has been your biggest inspiration?

The essay must be a minimum of one (1) and a maximum of two (2) single-spaced typed pages. All applications must contain the 5 items listed above and submitted to the School Counseling Office on or before Monday, March 25, 2024 to meet the Italian American Club’s deadline. The Iron Girl Scholarship

The Iron Girl Scholarship is given in memory of Alexea Karpinski, a 17 year old student athlete who attended Hunterdon Central High School. The Scholarship is open to NJ student athletes who will graduate in 2024 and have a minimum grade point average of 3.5. An application and coach's reference are required. Several scholarships in the amount of $2,200 or more will be awarded. The deadline to apply is April 15, 2024. Loew & Patel Orthodontics

Loew & Patel Orthodontics (Located in Bridgewater, Flemington and Annandale) is offering 3 $500 scholarships to graduating seniors who are currently patients or have been patients at Loew & Patel Orthodontics or Sanford Orthodontics. Applicants must be high school seniors who have applied to college. The Somerset County School Nurses Association Scholarship

The Somerset County School Nurses Association Scholarship has been announced and is open to seniors who reside in Somerset County and have been accepted and plan to attend a college or university which offers an undergraduate nursing program. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The application, along with essay, resume, high school transcript, nursing program acceptance notice, and two letters of recommendation, must be emailed on or before April 19, 2024 to qualify.
